Notarized Letter of Invitation
Drafting and Notarization of Letter of Invitation
A letter of invitation is often required at the time of applying for Temporary Resident Visa ( Visitor Visa) by some foreign nationals. The letter is written on behalf of the Canadian resident who wishes to invite the person to apply for a visitor visa. In most of the cases, visa offices require that letter of invitation be notarized by a notary public.
If you need a notarized letter of invitation, we can help. Our office notarizes letters of invitation on regular basis. This is one the most common document that we notarize.
A letter of invitation does not guarantee for the issuance of a visa. Visa officers assess you to decide whether you meet the terms of Canada’s immigration law.
Information for the person writing the letter of invitation
Writing a letter of invitation does not mean you are legally responsible for the visitor once he or she gets to Canada. You should still write the letter in good faith. You must tell the truth and plan to keep the promises you make in the letter.
Send your notarized letter to the person you are inviting to Canada. The person must then send this letter to the Canadian embassy or consulate outside of Canada when he or she applies for a temporary resident visa.
